Dove Releases

Experience the enchanting beauty of a dove release at your wedding, funeral or special occasion. Contact us to learn more.

As members of the National White Dove Release Society, the health and safety of our birds are our paramount concern. Therefore, a trained dove handler will escort our birds to be released. The handler has the sole discretion to cancel the releases due to bad weather of unfavorable atmospheric conditions. In these cases a full refund will be provided to our customers. Our doves are white rock doves (homing pigeons) that return home upon release. Unscrupulous dove releasers’ have been known to use the white ring neck dove for dove releases. Having no survival instincts these birds are doomed to a certain death upon release. Please notify us if you have contact with these people!

Funeral & Memorial Release

The beauty of funeral white dove release has a profound healing effect when dealing with the loss of a loved one.  In a funeral release, two white doves are released. One (the Spirit dove) represents the soul of the deceased, and the other representing the Holy Spirit, which accompanies the soul of the deceased back to the Father. Our Trinity release is performed with four white doves. Three birds, representing the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit are released first, followed by the Spirit dove representing the soul of the deceased, which joins the trinity doves in the air.  The doves usually circle a couple of times above the spectators before returning home. A number of additional Doves, representing the thoughts and prayers of those in attendance may also be released.

Psalms 55:6: “Oh that I had the wings of a dove! I would fly away and be at rest”.

Wedding Dove Release

The dove is the perfect symbol of Love, Devotion, and Unity.  After selecting a mate, doves will never choose another mate. They share the responsibilities of nest building, sitting on their eggs and caring for their offspring. Their lives become one and their sole purpose in life is dedicated to each other. Our wedding doves are released by the Bride and Groom from a heart shaped basket decorated to match your wedding flowers. Traditionally, two doves are released, one representing the Bride, and one representing the Groom. Upon release, the doves join together in the sky, usually they circle a couple of times those in attendance before flying away together. Any number of doves may be released after the first two. These symbolize the well wishes of the attendees.
